The day I had to pull my kids out of school.

Well I must say that I am annoyed with the fact that I may have to take my kid(s) out of school Monday because the so-called education system here in Ontario (which by the way I find sadly lacking in giving a real education compared to Ireland) feels the need to indoctrinate the children with their own mind-molding attempt at morality.

My son came home today to tell me that on Monday the school will be having a discussion circle on why it's okay to be a homosexual. I was very proud at myself that I didn't move with any sudden emotional impulse and call the principal with a blast. I thought very calmly about this and sat down very composed and rang her to say that I longed for the days when kids went to school to learn reading, writing and arithmetic.

She told me that they were doing this because they found so many of the students were saying things which were incredibly homophobic and that they needed to learn respect. Ah! There's that word.

Well I told her that I do not teach my kids to hate anyone nor to do violence to someone regardless of their personal morals, but they are kids. I don't want my son nor my daughter to have to fulfill someone's agenda in learning about what some people do in the privacy of their own personal places. It's none of their business and it's none of mine. I do not go around discussing my own personal heterosexual life.

I do not want my children to have to forego getting an education while the human rights commission and the education system force their agendas down their throats.

The principal of course did not agree with me and said that it wasn't going to get that detailed into things. How can't you get into the 'in's and out's' (no pun) of such a subject without having to explain what it is really about?

What makes me even more upset is that the school never bothered to send a notice home to say that they were going to bring in an 'expert' in to discuss this moral issue with the children.

How do they process this? I don't think they care as long as they can promote their agenda.

I certainly don't think that I should have to take a day off of work in order to babysit my children because their school wants to push an agenda and make everyone conform to Canada's rights and freedoms. What about my rights?

Adam Giambrone, Tiger Woods and why this world is blind.

Can somebody please tell me!!! What is the logic of this present age in which we live? I am not talking about The Church in general, which has its own share of problems and disputes but I am talking about the world in which we live which is permissive, and makes allowances for everything under the sun.

Enter Adam Giambrone. He is living common law with a woman and has admitted to stepping out on her a few times and now he just wouldn't make a very good candidate for Toronto's next mayor.

On the other hand, an openly homosexual mayoral candidate who is seeking to be Toronto's next mayor has already been accepted by the Children's Aid Society for he and his partner to adopt a baby boy.

Enter Tiger Woods with whom I have already blogged about. The news world was zeroing in on his public statements where he apologized for his affairs.

Can somebody please tell me, with the way Toronto and the rest of the world conducts its morals and ethics, how do I understand the logic in all of this?

Isn't it the world who is constantly telling Christians that they are narrow minded, bigotted, puritanical, judgmental...and I could go on. Why then?!!! Please, tell me, why are people in such a huff over Tiger Woods and over Adam Giambrone yet this mayoral candidate who is openly homosexual and who is adopting a baby boy with his partner, acceptable?

I am simply appealing to anyone who can help me understand why Tiger Woods should have to apologize when the tv and internet and society as a whole are so full of filth and which condones any kind of sexual activity which is espoused as 'okay' and nobody else's business if anyone should protest to it? I am very confused.

Why should it matter to Toronto that Adam Giambrone stepped out and had his fill of carnal knowledge when Toronto feeds upon that kind of stuff on a day to day basis.

Yonge Street, south of Gerrard is nothing but a cesspool of such muck.

Every summer, the mayor of Toronto is supposed to participate in the 'gay' pride parade in which people support in droves and bring their children to see men wearing outfits and acting in such a provocative manner, it's unbelievable. But then Adam Giambrone admits to not being monogamous when he's living with someone. Isn't there a slight hint of hypocrisy somewhere?

Tell me people. What gives? Where is the logic in all of this?

I would say that probably we are seeing the reality of 2 Corinthians 4:4 as the world runs around not even having an understanding of what they are doing because the world's logic has no logic as they are blindfolded by the evil one and cannot understand right from wrong until the heart itself is made right with the Author of Truth Himself!

Tiger Woods

Okay! I just can't take it any more and I've got to respond...as usual.

With my own morality grounded in The Bible, I have been told that I'm narrow minded, sexually uptight or frustrated or that the morality of The Scriptures are nonsense, impossible to keep and on and on it goes.

I am not one to watch material on tv (come to think of it, I hardly ever watch the stupid thing unless it is going to feed my brain and not my base nature) which is lewd, crude, rude or nude. I just don't. I know I must have hang-ups you say. No! I have a nice, clean conscience, thank you!

I am not that ignorant (without knowledge, for those who think I am making reference to table manners) to know what goes on in the entertainment world, which a large portion of society accepts as the 'norm'.

Sexuality unbridled is the norm for most people. You don't have to be married to engage in it, in fact, even if you are, they say, 'Hey! What's the harm?'

The world is always dying for yet another 'religious' figure to stumble and fall so that they can point the finger and say, 'See! They're all hypocrites!' Well I gotta' tell ya, the world invented hypocrisy.

I am not a golf fan nor am I a fan of Tiger Woods. Having said that, with all of the immoral philosophy which this world espouses to I'd like to ask a question. What is the big deal about Tiger Woods doing what he has been doing? He is only fulfilling his carnal desires which this world, for years, has promoted in every way imaginable.

You would think, he was a terrible, disgusting person but he was only acting out what has been affirmed by this world system for years.

This shows me how absolutely bent this world is because it advocates, promotes, markets, endorses...whatever...a lifestyle of doing whatever feels good to do, and then when one of its own does that, the response is, 'Look what he just did!'

I concede that this world is just stupid or dumb or...perhaps their minds have been darkened by the Evil One. That's right! They are the most confused, mixed up bunch of reprobates because that is what the deception of sin does. It darkens the reasoning capacity. Otherwise, the world would applaud what Mr. Woods has done. I certainly don't condone it but that is because my belief system is based in The Word of God. It is a fixed system of truth, not a variable one which changes with the moods or the weather.

Now they're going to roast this man and make a lot of money marketing his sin. Isn't that what Satan does? After he gets you into his jam jar of infectious behaviour, he then laughs at you because you're a mess. Only Jesus can take those of us who are the scum of the earth and clean us off with His precious blood and make us into new creatures. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

So, I hope the world gets its pleasure from having Mr. Woods for breakfast. He needs to know that there is always forgiveness and hope at the foot of The Cross.

CMT and so -called 'country music'

I just can't believe what passes for country music nowadays.

I am never going to watch CMT again, if that's what they call 'country music' - country porn maybe...what with the likes of Candy Underwear or whatever her name is, and the young chick with the goofy songs (who all the teenie boppers love) who got an award at some other awards thing and got railroaded by another loser.

What was she doing there when she is supposed to be country?

The days of country music sounding like country music are dead and gone or rather trapped within your old CD's, LP's and 8 traks (you teenie boppers need not worry what those are 'cause they were from the good ole' days).

I love the song that George Strait and Alan Jackson sang about country music being murdered on 'Music Row', 'cause after all, that's what happened.

These executives are just the pimps for those who do their bidding and as long as they obey the orders, everyone makes lots of money - after all, that's what it's all about. Right?

The integrity of true, great country music has been convoluted to be something it 'ain't'. It's not 'country' and it isn't 'music'. It's just a video meat market show which has no relevance to anything wholesome, downhome and...country.

Obama a fool!

Have a look at this first before reading on:
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.printable&pageId=110241

But you know what? People don't care and words of any sense are falling on deaf ears. Is this indicative of our society? I believe the Evil one has so influenced our society over many years that people do not think critically when it comes to sensible, moral or ethical matters.

This young generation has a philosophy and it is whatever they see on MTV or the junk which they view in the theatres and on the tv. It is a philosophy of the big 'ME' and nothing else matters. (If you don't believe me by the way, just try driving through an intersection where one of them is walking and they are seen texting whoever, thinking that everyone will stop for them because the world simply revolves around them)

People are being molded to just follow anything which 'feels good'. Those of you who are old enough to remember when that idea came out, and now we are NEVER to judge anyone who does anything contrary to what we think is right, no matter how disgusting, how immoral, how perverse it is.

Enter Obama. This man personifies ignorance and arrogance all in one. No matter what your views on health care are, he is attempting to re-arrange the US and turn it into a socialist country. I don't know about you, but when I was in my teens the USSR was a mighty big force to be reckoned with and all of us lived in the shadow of wondering when their missiles would be seen from a short distance, but eventually, it fell apart because socialism doesn't work. It is a failed ideal.

Now, let's look at Israel. Obama doesn't have a clue what he is doing or maybe he does but not to the full extent that he should. Perhaps he needs a personal encounter with Ha Shem - The Almighty!

We all know what has happened throughout history to nations which play games with Israel. Pick a nation. Any nation. Study the history of that nation when they decided to bully the Jewish people. They all came to nought and to grief.

Eventually, it will be agreed upon (and to some degree, it is already is by some, no matter how wrong it is to think such a thing) that Israel is the reason for the middle east's troubles and the solution is to eliminate them. You never will!!! Mr. Obama! YOU NEVER WILL!!!

So, maybe Mr. Obama will follow in the footsteps of the Hamans and Hitlers, but look where they are now, Mr. Obama, and Israel still thrives.

Such a man who tries to repeat these steps is nothing but a fool!

Celebrate what?

The church which we've attended over the last year has introduced a 'Celebrate Recovery' program this year, which originates from good ole Rick Warren's church. I won't get into discussing him in this posting.

Now, not to get into details but suffice it to say, I have had a lot of experience throughout my Christian walk with deception and deceptive teachings and experiences. Call it a sensitivity or just a suspicious mind but I pondered what this was all about, so I did what most people would do. I did a google search and Dave Hunt and Tom McMahon explains things better than I could.

Have a look:
http://www.thebereancall.org/node/5295

I love many Calvary Chapel pastors who came from the worst backgrounds before they were saved. I also love their response when asked about 'christian' 12-step programs. I've heard them say that they went through a 1-step program all the way to The Cross and surrendered totally to Jesus.

I realize that we all have our hurts, hangups, issues, addictions. Whatever you want to call them, but if we are under the teaching of The Word of God and getting into The Word of God yourself, what could be better than that in changing these issues as you look onto Jesus?

Once again, The Church wants to go to the world system with all of its psychological nonsense and place that above The Word of God.

I wonder how Paul and the other Apostles helped The Church in their day without the help of Freud, Jung, etc. Interesting thought to ponder. Well?

Are there any literate teens anymore?

It amazes me how teens today seem to be entrenched in so much technology yet lacking any kind of intelligence. Let me explain. If you greet any of them, they just don't know how to respond. When asked a question, they shrug their shoulders, mostly I would submit, because they don't understand what you are asking, unless it has to do with i-pods, cell phones, teen movies or programs like Miley Cyrus who is neither funny nor intelligent.

Yeah, I know I sound like a typical middle-aged man but you see, even when I was a child and was into my teens, I would hold the door for someone, say 'please' and 'thank-you'. I even could carry on a conversation with adults, but nowadays, you have to speak 'baby talk' in case you use a word with more than one syllable with many teens.

For those of you who are the exception, I apologize, in fact, I would love to apologize to many teens for what I just said, but sadly, it is just a common thing that teens are not into reading and learning and getting some sort of education. Everything is dumbed down, even the news, like City-TV, with quick blurbs, constant commercial breaks, because we don't want to overload the poor teens who are watching and must send another machine gun round of text messages to their friends about...who knows what.

I have often said that I don't want to live to be old because by the time I start to break down and need help, these teens will be looking after me. I almost shudder to think of it. Imagine when I need my oxygen but the little darling looking after me just HAS to send a text message about some useless piece of information, or just HAS to look at herself in the mirror for the upteenth time, only to find me unconscious by the I get some help. No thanks. I'd rather die a little bit younger than be predisposed to such neglect by this generation of teens.

I believe that if our so-called education system still taught 'Elmer the Elephant' safety rules (anybody remember him?). If only they taught courtesy, manners and the likes, instead of telling little Johnny something so as not to hurt his self-esteem, then maybe we'd have more teens who were in touch with their humanity than in touch with the latest update of whatever cell phone, i-pod, or useless technology is out there nowadays.
