CMT and so -called 'country music'

I just can't believe what passes for country music nowadays.

I am never going to watch CMT again, if that's what they call 'country music' - country porn maybe...what with the likes of Candy Underwear or whatever her name is, and the young chick with the goofy songs (who all the teenie boppers love) who got an award at some other awards thing and got railroaded by another loser.

What was she doing there when she is supposed to be country?

The days of country music sounding like country music are dead and gone or rather trapped within your old CD's, LP's and 8 traks (you teenie boppers need not worry what those are 'cause they were from the good ole' days).

I love the song that George Strait and Alan Jackson sang about country music being murdered on 'Music Row', 'cause after all, that's what happened.

These executives are just the pimps for those who do their bidding and as long as they obey the orders, everyone makes lots of money - after all, that's what it's all about. Right?

The integrity of true, great country music has been convoluted to be something it 'ain't'. It's not 'country' and it isn't 'music'. It's just a video meat market show which has no relevance to anything wholesome, downhome and...country.
